It's a little unbelievable to me but I managed to get all the details taken care of and got out the door at 3:30 this morning! (Okay lets be realistic. God managed to get all the details taken care of and get me out the door this morning. We all know I'd never have made it on my own.) Right now I'm sitting at the Atlanta airport eating lunch and taking advantage of their tables with outlets.
So what am I doing here? I, along with Dr. Sandra Richter and a group of students from Wesleyan Biblical Seminary, are on our way to Israel for three weeks of study. For the last few weeks I have been working on pre-class assignments that involved mapping out various events of the bible. I've mapped out the route that Abraham most likely took from Ur to Caanan. I've mapped out the route that Joshua took to lead the people into the land and various battles that took place. I feel like I've learned so much already and now I can't wait to see with my own eyes the places I have been studying and to "walk in the footsteps" of the great heroes of the faith. I opened this blog site in order to be able to share my experiences with all of you back home as I go. I hope you enjoy it and please take a moment here and there to pray for me. Thank you!!
